Great library, but why "hide" information that is part of mime-db?

This library adds some useful functionality to the mime-db database, but it also "hides" certain information. Why not expose source and compressible? Or just expose the internal db?

what would be the value in exposing it through an additional layer when you can just do require('mime-db') in your code?
